[two_third_end]
…BONGI MTHOMBENI…
Bongi, a Top 8 performer on Idols 2010, has had a passion for music from a very young age. A self-taught pianist and avid performer, Bongi began session work at Lemon Jack Studios, contributing piano, backing vocals, musical arrangement, and later, sound engineering and production.

He has worked with Chris Chameleon, the Parlotones, Steve Hofmeyr and more, and continued his musical experience by opening the stage for aKing, Freshly Ground, Kurt Darren and Prime Circle. A regular volunteer at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and the Siyazigabisa Children’s Home, Bongi’s projects involve teaching and encouraging children to fearlessly pursue their talent through regular piano lessons and informal jam sessions. After Idols, Bongi has pursued his solo career – performing with Lemon Grass, appearing in the Barnyard Theatre’s Summer of Love production, and most recently playing the role of Prince Charming in the Joburg Theatre’s 2011 production of Cinderella.

Bongi’s talent and charisma see him at home on any stage, and this dynamic performer sees big things ahead for 2012.

[two_third_end]
…BROADWAY BABIES…
They’re big, blonde and beautiful, and they’re not afraid to throw their weight around.

Titi, Anthea and Zenobia celebrate everything that’s feminine. The trio weaves their way through all the bump ‘n grind New York musical hits with sprinkles of raunchy Mzansi’s Ipi Ntombi, giving you a humorous evening of songs about love, men and relationships. Unconventional beauty, an exquisite voice, the girl-next-door charm and self-deprecating humour gave Broadway memorable characters such as Mama Rose, Baby Snooks and Maria von Trapp. Titi, Anthea and Zenobia pave the way in Cape Town, and are arguably just as extraordinary.

As Broadway Babies unfolds with one magnificent song after another – tracing melodies that Broadway hasn’t seen since the great era of the ’60s, we embark upon a journey that lies reminiscent of the show-business boom, so resplendent of New York’s famous stage.
