A solid formal schooling in jazz, coupled with extensive professional experience both as a performer and a teacher, have shaped Edith Klug’s sense of musicality and contributed to her developing a rich, warm voice – both reminiscent of some of the great female jazz legends, and strongly individual.

She sings with the popular group, Voice (featuring Andile Yenana, Herbi Tsoaedi, Murabo Moragele, Marcus Wyatt and Sydney Mnisi), as well as with Carlo Mombelli, Jonathan Crossley and Roland Moses. Based in Johannesburg, Edith regularly performs with Jonathan Crossley at Café Mezza Luna in Melville.
